How Far Do You Trust PROTON.
Well, I decide not to trust Proton any more. Reason, refer to below email which I sent to Proton and yet to recive any reply from them after a week. I also receive a apology letter from PROTON for their wrong troubleshooting but I unable to post it here as I have acknowledge to keep apology letter confidential. This is the first and last I'm gonna own a Proton car. How about you?
Good Day F****** Proton.
Based on my complaint and referring to your proton so call specialist and stupid chief mechanic. I was told to change the below listed part in order to resolve my issue. Earlier I complained on the tok tok sound whenever I turn my steering left and right. I was referred to your stupid chief mechanic (dressed formal and sitting in the office - an elderly guy - can't remember the name). I fought with him on the meeting room on why I need to change all the following part to remove the noise as he is not narrowing down the issue to find from which part the noise came from. This shows that he is so stupid and idiotic chief mechanic trying the make an easy way to solve the problem without taking any effort to narrow down the issue which end of the day will cost me around RM2K to replace all the parts. Further down the argument he was giving an explanation that since its a old car all the parts needs to replaced in order remove the noise. I even suggested to them, why not proton change the part one by one to find which part is effected and I just pay for
the part replaced rather than change all the part which will cost me RM2K. They refuse take my suggestion. Again proton is a f****** blood sucker. Below is the list of parts that your chief mechanic asked me to change.

Rear Center MTG Auto
BRKT ASSY, FRONT ROLL MTG
MEMBER ASSY CENTER

TOTAL CHARGE : RM2040.45
Guess what, I have resolved the issue in the car. A 28 years old mechanic from TOYOTA service center have resolve the issue at no any cost. Now my ride is smooth and silent without any irritating noise. He just took two and half hours to identify the problem and he did narrow down the problem and resolved it. The best part is he did not touching any of the above listed parts to solve the problem. So in other word none of the part listed above by proton is affected.
My anger was beyond the limit when the issue was resolved without any cost but Proton quoted me RM2K. Please ask your chief mechanic to stop acting like a Proton professional and ask him to learn how a 28 years old Toyota mechanic work.
Differents from your Proton so called chief mechanic and my normal Toyota mechanic.
1) Your mechanic is just so stupid and lazy cows to narrow down the issue.
2) My mechanic only took two hours plus to identify the issue and narrow down.
1) Your mechanic has equipped with all the tools in your service center but still failed and lazy to narrow down the issue
2) My mechanic repaired my car in his house in Cheras with his very limited tools and manage resolve the issue.
1) Your mechanic failed to resolved an issue on a car which made by Malaysian Proton by a Malaysia Proton chief mechanic in Proton HQ.
2) My mechanic who is a Malaysian who used to work with Japanese car (TOYOTA) manage to resolved an issue on a Proton car which he never worked with. He is not even a chief mechanic in TOYOTA.
1) Your mechanic gonna charge me RM2K to resolve the issue by replacing all the part listed above.
2) My mechanic resolve the issue with no cost WITHOUT touching any of the part listed above which your stupid chief machines adv me to change.
So in the future do we buy car in Proton and bring to TOYOTA service center if there is any issue with the car? Since Proton has idiotic chief mechanic?
Note : As I mentioned on the earlier email previously the issue resolved by Puchong Service Center with no cost at all. But when the second time I went there, they wanted to change me RM1400. That is the main reason why I came to Poton HQ but you blood sucker wanted to charge me RM2K. But the actual fact the issue was resolved at no cost. I'm not gonna reveal how the problem was resolved and let it be a question mark for your F****** Proton.
If you yet to believe that I manage to resolved the problem without changing any of the part suggested by proton. Do let me know I can bring my car for your inspection to check with your f****** eyes to prove that I did not change the part suggested by proton. You can even test drive my car and I can prove there is no noise at all. I resolved the issue two weeks ago and till today after two weeks there is no sound from the car. So its proven solution and proven the issue resolved.
I'm just afraid how many customers was chopped like me before and how many customers will be chopped by Proton in the future.
